PHCCI donates plastic chairs to Tanjay school

Perpetual Help Community Cooperative ( PHCCI) turned over 35 pieces plastic arm chair to Plaza Central Elementary School in Tanjay City after the flag raising ceremony today.  The donation was made possible through the favorable approval of the PHCCI Board of Directors through the endorsement of Director Profetiza Lim.

If noted, Plaza Central Elementary School caught fire in January 18, 2016 and lost a good number of classrooms, chairs, tables and other facilities for the children.

Plaza Central Elementary School is one of the partner schools of PHCCI in the implementation of the Aflatoun program.  The school is also the first Aflatoun partner school in Tanjay City.

Dr. Profetiza Lim, Board of Director and Committee Chairperson on Aflatoun said PHCCI has been discerning for the best donation for the school. The cooperative will always extend help especially to partner schools in crisis situation.

Dr. Lim added she hopes that the donation can help the school and the children enjoy the comfort of learning in school.

Tanjay Plaza Central School is close to the heart of Dr. Lim since she was once assigned as Division Superintendent-Tanjay Division before she retired from Dep Ed.

Schools Division Superintendent Bernardo Ysulan and Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Orlando G. Gadano both expressed their gratitude to PHCCI for the donation.

The activity was attended by SDS Bernardo D. Ysulan, ASDS Orlando G. Cadano, Division DRRM Coordinator Nestor S. Jadraque, and Division SHS Focal Person Annabelle G. Cornelio.
