PHCCI continues the tradition of transparency and members’ participation by holding more ownership meetings this year, 2012. During the ownership meetings, the officers of the Cooperative renders a report on the financial performance, newly and/or amended policies, and opens discussion for future undertaking that the Cooperative should focus and plan.
For the members, the ownership meeting is an excellent avenue to meet and interact with the officers, staff and other members to share their experiences and to celebrate the principle of cooperation. For the officers, management and staff of the cooperative, ownership meeting provides them the opportunity to gather our client-members and to listen to their various needs, ranging from better loan services to better member’s benefits and so on and so forth. By interacting with members and getting to know their needs, the officers may learn from them and use the knowledge in developing the cooperative’s strategic and business plan. The officers can also gather immediate feedback from the members on their sentiments on the various plans that the officers have for the Cooperative.
Clearly, ownership meeting is important to our beloved Cooperative, PHCCI; thus, the officers made sure that the Cooperative conducts more ownership meetings.
For this year, the Cooperative held eight (8) ownership meetings at the following locations and date:
